This DUKW was already restored in the past. It stayed parked too many years without poper maintenance. Eventually, in April 2021, a small team decided to give it a new life.
April 2021: check-up of the ignition system
Summer 2021: begining of the overhauling of the braking system (brake drum, hydrovac,…)
Spring 2022: overhauling of the braking system is over! Wheels are back in place. The engine head had been removed in the first place, but the whole engine is finally taken out for an overhauling.
