History
M10 Ammo Trailer has been designed to be mainly pulled by Priest M7 tank, 105mm Sherman, but could also be pulled by class 2,5 Tons trucks, half-tracks, armoured vehicles etc. Maximum of three M10 trailers could be coupled in a line to the above vehicles. The trailer carried the following ammunitions : 155mm, 105m and 75mm and was manufactured by three companies from 1942 to 1945 : Fruehauf Trailer Company, Yougstown Steel Door Company and Schlem Brothers. Univem’s M10 Ammo trailer is a 1944 Fruehauf Trailer.
There was neither suspension system, nor shock absorbers and the trailer was fitted with two independent hand brakes.
