History
These semi-trailers were built by Rivers Body Factory and Timpte Bros during WW2. They were often towed by 4/5 ton 4×4 trucks (made by Autocar, Federal,…). Their purpose was to provide mobile clothing repair facilities.
Our semi-trailer was built by Rivers Body Factory and is the 8th built. It is awaiting restoration. On the pictures, you can see it equipped with a dolly to ease its moving.
