Back in the Belgian Ardennes area after a two year gap because of Covid. We headed to Ivanhoe 2023, held by the Indian Head association in Oignies-en-Thiérache. More than 160 participants with about 40 vehicles came from Belgium, France, the Netherlands or even Italy. We came with a GMC CCKW dumper and a M5 Half-Track that got a white camouflage for the occasion!
Participants began to arrive on Friday afernoon. A meal was foreseen on the evening. On Saturday, a convoy with several steps throughout the day was organized (Brûly-de-Pêche, Cul-des-Sarts or Rocroi). On Sunday, the train museum of Mariembourg-Treignes was on the list. Last meal together on Sunday noon before coming back home after a wonderful weekend spent.
