Outing “On the traces of Red Ball Express”

For the last Saturday of February, a small outing in the countryside was organized by some members of Univem for the members of Univem. The Dodge T110 was out for the occasion. Several members brought their Jeep. Also to mention, one of them brought an Austin 8HP.

First stop in Les Mesnuls, to see the grave of a USAAF pilot. Then, stop at the restaurant of the Golf of La Queue-lez-Yvelines for lunch. On the way home, we stopped for two Red Ball Express milestones in La Queue-lez-Yvelines. Finally, a last stop was in front of a house that held the shooting of a scene of the movie “Now Where Did the 7th Company Get to?”.
