Again, UNIVEM was invited by the “Vincennes en Anciennes” association (an association of classic cars) to attend the arrival of their famous event, the “Traversée de Paris”: hundreds of classic cars driving through Paris on Sunday morning. The finish line being in the castle of Meudon, which is on the edge of a wooded plateau, that offers views of the Seine and Paris.
For this year’s special exhibiton, members of UNIVEM brought several military motorcycles: 2 Harley Davidson WLA, a Matchless G3 L, an Indian 741B, a 1951 Gillet-Herstal 500 L, a 1953 BSA M20 but also replicas of a Cushman 53 and a Welbike. But of course, when we think about UNIVEM, you think about heavy vehicles. So we also came with the Half-track M16, the Diamond T 981, the International M425 and its semi-trailer, the GMC CCKW-353 tanker, several Dodge WC and many Jeeps.
And again, the interest was high from the public! Our vehicles met a great success that has to be renewed next year!
