Here we have a 1943 stretched Jeep Ford GPW (about 40 inches longer than a regular Jeep). Unusual vehicle which was a field modification, allowing a roomier cargo capacity (up to 10 persons). Used for example to transport prisoners, or like this restored one, as a Signal Corps vehicle. The WW2 era picture shows a Ford GPW modified as such… Congratulations to Jean-Michel for this presentation!
